Third Week repeat Week One

Fourth Week is same as Second Week but I add in a ACV rinse and maybe a protein-based DC.

This was my regimen when I was relaxed:

Regardless if I switch up products--it will always be pre-poo for 45, wash w/moisturizing shampoo & a DC mix, in that order.

Hair Vitamin: Hairfinity & B-Complex

I. At Week 1-5 of Regimen is moisture based.

Pre - poo: Apply coconut oil to hair & scalp from root to tip with heat from 30 mins to 1 hour.

Moisturizing Shampoo -- Aphoghee Deep Moisture Shampoo

Moisturizing DC - Creme of Nature Nourishing Conditioner mixed w/Roux Posority Control & JBCO

Rollerset

***In-between Wash Days:
  • Apply aloe vera juice to scalp 2x week.
  • Apply moisturizer to nape and edges, seal with JBCO daily.
  • Lightly M&S daily: Neutrogena Triple Moisture Leave-in Creme & Grapeseed Oil

II. At Week 6 Regimen turns into Protein Based:I will begin to start a protein based regimen which will strengthen my hair. I do a light protein based regimen for 4 weeks.

Pre-poo: Apply coconut oil to hair & scalp from root to tip with heat from 30mins to 1 hours.

Shampoo with a clarifying shampoo

III. 7-10 week Mark:
At this mark of the regimen, I begin to baby my new growth more with a moisture based pre-poo and I moisturize new growth (NG) every other day.

Pre-poo: cheapie moisturizing conditioner mixed w/honey, coconut oil, olive oil. Working it through the NG and saturating my ends.

Shampoo: Aphogee Deep Moisture Shampoo

Light Protein DC: ORS Replenishing Pak mixed w/grapseed oil & Roux porosity control

***In-between Wash Days:
  • Apply aloe vera juice to scalp 2x week.

New Growth treatment: Apply new growth with ORS Intensive Moisture Creme every other day. Keeping new growth moisturized is key to prevent breakage at this mark of the regimen.

Week 10: Repeat Regimens. Week 1-5. Week 6. Week 7-10. If you stretch relaxers, this could be a good regimen with your own favorite products, of course.

Natural Oils (check out my post  one the benefits of using natural oils)
Grapeseed Oil - add to DC mixes and use as my sealant
Coconut Oil - add to my pre-poo mixes or use alone as a pre-poo
Jamaican Black Castor Oil - apply to scalp 2x a week and massage for 15 mins.
